Euge Groove &
Mindi Abair
Saturday June 18th 7:30pm
In the Grove at the Radisson Sacramento
We've taken two headliners and put them into one show! If you haven't seen Euge Groove and Mindi Abair play together, then you haven't seen Euge Groove and Mindi Abair!
" I’ve always considered SAC a music town. People come out to let loose. This goes back to my first shows in SAC with Tower of Power back in the late eighties and continues on today. But there have been no experiences more memorable then my first time playing the Guzzetta Grove as Euge Groove. It was August 2003 if I recall correctly, and a full moon was out. The place was packed. It was quite warm. And the people were ready to party. They were up dancing in front of the stage and making security quite nervous. In particular were two young ladies that were making suggestive eye contact with my bass player. I had to ask them from the stage to leave him alone so he could concentrate on the music. That crazy energy is always in my mind every time I hit that stage now. I get very excited every time I see the Guzzetta Grove on my schedule. "

" I've come to Sacramento to play with my band for so many years and by now I feel like it's a second home. There are usually more familiar faces in the crowd than not, and I love that. I always look forward to coming back, and the show we put on always has a special magic here that comes from how comfortable we are on stage and how much love we feel from the audience. I can't wait to play!
